She was predeceased by: her parents, David Gienger and Karolina Gienger (Dockter); her husband Paul J. Kessler Sr.; and her son Kenneth. She is survived by: her children, Karen Severson (Wayne), Sandi Kessler, Nancy Wagner (Rob), Tim Kessler (Mary), Paul Kessler Jr. and Kevin Kessler (Bridget). She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the David-Donehower Funeral & Cremation Service (609 US-10, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). Memorial contributions in Eva's memory may be given to HIA Hospice or the ND State Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND.
