He was predeceased by: his parents, James Emmett and Mae Kyte (Engle); and his siblings, Richard Lee Kyte and Judith Anne Raye. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Kristi Strong (Brad) and Casey Kyte; his grandchildren, Lola, Stella Strong and Easton Kyte; and his sisters, Sue Swanson (Jerry), Vicki Boedigheimer and Robbie Schoenberger (Allan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (619 3rd Ave SW, Perham, MN 56573). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
