He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy; his son Matthew; his parents, Leonard Disse and Beatrice Disse (Turner); and his sister Mary Ballard.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Donley; his children, Chris and Allison Fransen; his grandchildren, Jaiden Disse and Nova Fransen; and his siblings, Margaret "Peggy" Stellmach (Ed), Thomas Disse (Sue), Michael Disse (Pearl), Martha Hanson (Rory) and John Disse (Suzanne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
