It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kristi Joy Ritter (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota), who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Sam, Esther Seter (Hagen), Ralph and Leona Erickson (Titze); her aunts, Mary McAndrew (Erickson) and Barbara Martin (Erickson); her uncle David Linquist; and her father-in-law James Ritter.
She is survived by: her parents, John Erickson and Mary Ann Erickson (Seter); her husband Jeff Ritter; her children, Ashley Salih (Rasheed), Jenny Ritter and Alex Ritter; her grandchildren, Jeremiah and Muna Salih; her sisters, Michelle Vogl (Wade) and Katie Maple (Corey); her siblings-in-law, Tammy Ness (Rick), Kim Ritter (Kirk) and Shaun Ritter (Elienette); and her mother-in-law Bonnie Ritter (Murray). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (912 Lake Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
