With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Buboltz (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Larry left this world on July 13, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Buboltz and Dorothy Buboltz (Ebent); his parents-in-law, Elmer and Alice Strand; his brother-in-law Richard Strand; and his brother Leland Buboltz.
He is survived by: his wife Adrienne Strand; his children, Mitch (Jackie Sims), Zach, Maggie of Detroit Lakes, Michael (Edenia Mendoza), Paxton, Wyatt of Roseville, TJ (Karen Malone), Nick and Ben of Detroit Lakes; his sisters, Annie Hughes (Mike) of Burnsville and Laurie Karl (David) of Buffalo Lake; and his siblings-in-law, Arlie (Peggy Nolden) and Nancy Huston. He is also survived by many niece and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (912 Lake Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A prayer will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations could be given to Hearts in Action Hospice, First Lutheran Church, DLCCC or the Dollars for Scholarship Program in Detroit Lakes.
