With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Lee Tovson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Dick" Tovson. He is survived by: his mother Ruth "Dolly" Tovson; his wife Audrey Tovson (Ogroske); his daughter Sally Shirek (Tom); his granddaughter Isla Shirek; and his sister Kris Tovson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Tom's memory with a donation to Hearts in Action (Hospice of the Red River Valley) or by playing a round of golf — preferably for quarters.
