He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Gjerde and LaVaun Gjerde (Schons); his grandchildren, Victor, Ingrid and Lenny; his children, Jesse Gjerde (Emily), Dylan Gjerde (Debbie), Logan Gjerde (Jade), Angel Gjerde and Alaina Gjerde; and his siblings, Jeff Klobuchar (Linda), Shelly Breitenfeldt, Craig Klobuchar, Sherry Kneifl (Rob), Mona Gjerde (Chad Balfe) and Terrie Johnson (Floyd).
