He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Messerschmidt, Gene Messerschmidt, Jerry Messerschmidt, Sue Standfield and Bryon Standfield (Stacy); his grandchildren, Chad Dickerson (Megan), Mathew Dickerson, Jason Dickerson (Kendra), Blake Standfield (Katie), Hunter Standfield, Tara Snyder (Dave) and Brittany Rasmussen (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Weston, Bennett, Carter, Eli, Luke, Nevaeh and Greyson. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
