He is survived by: his parents, Sofia Tamez and Felipe Tamez Sr.; his siblings, Lydia Tamez, Juan Carlos Tamez, Maria Teresa Tamez, Fernando Tamez, Julio Tamez and Rigoberto Tamez; and his grandmother Olivia M. Garza. He is also survived by his 26 nieces and nephews; and his 17 great-nieces and great-nephews and many many beloved cousins.
