It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott C. Nelson of Dilworth, Minnesota, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Nelson (Hoffman) and Orris C. Nelson of Dilworth, MN.. He is survived by: his siblings, Pam Nelson (Gary Johnson) of Moorhead, MN and Craig Nelson (Anita); his nephews, Christopher Nelson (Morgan) and Nick Nelson of Baldwin, ND; his brother Mark Nelson (The Squatter) of Lake Park, MN; his aunt Bea Vining of West Fargo, ND; his uncle Alfred Bachman of Frazee, MN; and his cousins, David Hoffman (Wayne Sander) of Moorhead, MN, Lyle, Mary Hovelson of Hawley, MN, Milton Hovelson of Red Wing, MN, Dennis and Judy Hovelson of Lewiston, MN.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Home and Cremation Service-Moorhead (605 2nd Ave S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Casselton Cemetery.
