He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton and Marjorie (Peterson); his siblings, Larry, Philip Schuster and Bonnie Garness; and his daughter Tammy Price.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Smith (Hoffman) of Maiden Rock; his children, Kelli Anderson (Jeff), Donald Schuster (Carolyn), James Schuster (Brenda), Darrell Jr. Schuster (Miranda), Joseph Smith (Amanda), Michael Smith (Jessica), Andrew Smith (Anna) and Lindsay Rowe (Glendon); his son-in-law Ronald Price; his sisters, Marilyn Otterbein (Loren) and Kathie Otterbein (Norman); his sister-in-law Betty Schuster; and his children, Sara Stinson, Sita Hoffman, Jesse Hoffman, Louie Larsen and John Risteau. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eidsvold Lutheran Church (W6111 County Rd Ee, Bay City, WI 54723). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
