She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Wang and Ragna Wang (Baker); her husband Don Carlson; her children, Terry Carlson and Kristi Carlson; her grandson Guy Carlson; and her siblings, Melvin, Ola "Doc", Ellen, Richard "Dick" and Peter.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Schmidt (Corey) of Bryan, TX and Chad Carlson (Peggy Witt) of Dodge Center; her grandchildren, Katherine, Elizabeth, Gerald, Lori and Ryle; her great grandchildren, Callie, Kolten, Greyson, Maverick and Emersyn; and her siblings, Marlene Mikkelson of Fargo, ND and Ronnie Wang (Doreen) of Glyndon, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dodge Center Community Center (35 E Main St, Dodge Center, MN 55927). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, June 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
