He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lawrence Wickens and Aryness Ione Joy Wickens; his brother David Elder Wickens; and his daughter-in-law Cheri Wickens. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Wickens; his sons, David Jonathan Wickens (Lori), Donaldson Ellery Wickens and Drew Courtney Wickens (Nada); his stepdaughter Eleanor Marie Seifert (Tom); his grandchildren, Drew Shingo Wickens, Alexis Wickens (Jordan Edwards), Emma Wickens, David J Wickens II, Kyla Wickens, Kate Wickens and Tiffany Wickens; his stepgrandchildren, Grace Lemke, Sam Lemke and Max Lemke; his great grandchildren, Serenity Edwards and Charlotte Scott; and his former wife Carolyn Wickens.
Memorials preferred to Twin Cities Opera Guild or to Yellow Tree Theatre.
