Doretta Olson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2025, at the age of 87, Doretta Olson of Donaldson, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake W. Hofmann and Lea Hofmann (Hins); and her husband James. She is survived by: her daughters, Lea Oswald (Jerry) of Fergus Falls, MN, Julie Spilde (Gary) of Perham, MN, Lorrie Lorentz of Fargo and Jami Kolrud (Mitch) of Fargo; her grandchildren, Kassandra Draves, Lukas (Krystal), Markas Dahl (Ashley), Alexas Shelley (Garrett), Mitchell, Madelyne Oswald, Cole Lorentz and Jake Kolrud; and her great grandchildren, Jazmyn, Bekkam, Brooks and Louie. She is also survived by two brothers; one sister-in-law; four sisters; two brothers-in law; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Schoeneberger Funeral & Cremation Service (100 Jake St, Perham, MN 56573). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Skjeberg Lutheran Church (1327 160th Ave, Drayton, ND 58225).
