He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartwell Burner and Thea Burner (Brainerd); and his siblings, Betty Moen, June Johnson and Blair Burner.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Gustafson; his sons, Rob Burner (Jennifer) of Corinth, TX and Craig Burner (Stephanie) of Clara City, MN; his grandchildren, Austyn Burner (Allyson), Abigail Sawyer (Hunter), Joseph Burner (Morgan DeHaan) and Benjamin Burner (Liberty Niemeyer); his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Ethan; his siblings, Phyllis Turner of Clovis, CA and Margit Eastman; and his siblings-in-law, Lavina Burner and Dallas Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
In Lieu of Flowers, if you wish to honor Bob, the family welcomes memorials to St. John's Church in Donnelly, Barrett Care Center, Vivie Hospice or any charity of your choice.
