She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Rathe and Marion Rathe (Carlson); her former husband Ronald Jacobson; and her brothers, Duane and Dan Rathe.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Butchart; her son Brad Jacobson (Lois); her stepson Steve Butchart (Carrie Cecka); and her grandchildren, Tyler, Morgan, McKenzie, Annalise Jacobson and Gracie Butchart.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home (3208 W 3rd St, Duluth, MN 55806). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association (https://donorservices.alz.org) or Salvatin Army are preferred.
