She was predeceased by: her parents, Linda Colby (Tainio) and William Colby; her aunt Lempi Taino; her son Michael Byran Halverson; her brother Alvin Eugene Colby; her parents-in-law, Rudolph and Ruby Halverson (Peterson); her brother-in-law Eugene Soderberg; her aunts and uncles, Lillian, Whilho, Toivo, Edwin, Helen, Ailie, Linda, Hilma, Ina, Elaine, Waino and Elmer; her grandson-in-law Zachary Hunter; and her great grandchild Rowan Olive.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Halverson; her daughters, Cathy Valentine (James) and Lori Halverson-Wente (Mark); her sister Jane Pasanen (Donald); her sister-in-law Sharon Soderberg; her grandchildren, Robin (Rob), Jeremiah, Katy, Cara, Ren (Grace) and Jordan (Natalie); Bev and Barb.
