We are sad to announce that, on April 4, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Bill D Wolz (Duluth, Minnesota), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Harold Wolz Jr. and Thyra Irene Wolz (Kultala); his stepfather George Clark of Proctor; and his siblings, Steve (Roberta Sue) of Lincoln, Ed Wolz (Cindy), John of Seattle, Sharon McIntosh of Esko, Linda Hare (Jeff) of Duluth and Susan Doller of Superior.

In lieu of flowers, cards or anything else, the family asks that you buy a bag of critter food and spend some time in nature, honoring Bill.

“Bill was my friend and colleague at UMD in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. I always looked forward to hearing his stories, talking about the latest news gossip and pondering the meaning of life. He shared his love of his wild animals, his music and his intelligence with everyone he came in contact with. He was a born teacher and the void he leaves in the lives of his family, friends and his students is a large one that cannot be filled. Be blessed Bill. You will not be forgotten.”
