She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Phillips and Geraldine Phillips (Tappen); and her son Charles Tyler Garvey. She is survived by: her husband Danny "Boon" Gordon; and her daughters, Amber Barton (Wes) and Courtney Garvey. She is also survived by many grandchildren; siblings; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
