It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bonnie Louise Melander (Duluth, Minnesota), who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Sternal and Irene Sternal (Kauppi); her brother Richard Sternal (Sugar); and her brother-in-law Bill Boggess. She is survived by: her husband Donald D. Melander; her children, Thomas Grassinger, Jeffrey Grassinger, Melissa King (Grassinger), Gary Melander (Carla) and Scott Melander (Cynthia); and her sister Diane Boggess. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family.
