He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nemec and Margaret Nemec (Leveille); his siblings, Joanne Vekich (Joe) and Donald Nemec (Patricia); and his former wives, Chris and Suzanne Syring-McCullough.
He is survived by: his daughter Maggie Nemec; his granddaughter Myla Olson; his son Jacob Nemec-Borealis (Kate Borealis); his siblings, Patricia Askelson (Martin) of Kirkland, WA, Linda Dawson and John Nemec (Barbara) of Carmichael, CA; and his niece Karen Cheetham (Thomas). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
