She was predeceased by: her parents, Ueckert Sperber and Fontella Sperber (Uhley); her husband Herbert Minke Jr.; and her sisters, Wilma Sperber and Catherine Standley.

She is survived by: her brother Kenneth Sperber (Shirley); her children, Herbert Minke III (Terri) and Barbara Fang Babcock (Jim); and her grandchildren, Adam Fang, Ethan Fang, Elaine Fang and Dr. Kate Minke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She created many quilts and handmade projects for her family and crocheted newborn hats for donation to both St. Luke's Birthing Center and St. Mary's NICU.
