He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Erickson and Borghild Erickson; and his niece Patty Erickson. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Laspi; his children, Carrie Erickson (Mike Birdseye) of Duluth, Brian Erickson (Moriah) of Winslow and Kevin Erickson (Kelly) of Duluth; his grandchildren, Leah, Jon, Rudy, Gavin, Ava, Zane, Nora, Luna, Edward Clyde, Ethan, Bo Erickson, Eli Caliendo, Casey Peak, Jessica, Jayden Birdseye, David Stachnik, Manilan Houle and Shawna Larson; his great grandchild Makenna Erickson; his brothers, Dale Erickson (Elaine) of Austin, MN and Roger Erickson (Annie) of Duluth; and his brother-in-law Glen Laspi (Susan) of Cloquet. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Save the Children or UNICEF, to benefit the children of Ukraine, or to Concordia Lutheran Church.
