We announce the death of Darlene M. Wright (Duluth, Minnesota), who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 84. Darlene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Murphy (Dallmann) and John Murphy; her husband Tom Wright; and her siblings-in-law, Norman Pletcher, Jack Krisak, Al Gagne and Caren Gagne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Brandt (Bryan) and Kristine Miernicki; her siblings, Robert Murphy (Marilyn), Marlene Sorenson (Kim), Sharon Frost (Ty) and Diane Pletcher; her sister-in-law Jane Krisak; and her nieces and nephews, Aaron Pletcher (Christine), Laurie Edwards (Josh), Miranda Frost, Andy Pletcher, Scott Krisak (Jordan), Carrie Baylis (Kevin), John Gagne (Jenn), Shawn Murphy (Melissa) and Ryan Murphy (Trudy).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (9503 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55808). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
