David Michael Kirwan Obituary

The memory of David Michael Kirwan (Duluth, Minnesota), who passed away on April 4, 2026 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Francis and Emma Catherine Kirwan (Lunsford); his sister Anna Kirwan; and his brother-in-law David "Mick" Gick. He is survived by: his siblings, Gloria Gick, Alice Murray (Mike), Mary Jo Kirwan and James "Jimmy" Kirwan; his children, Alex Kirwan (Leticia Lacy) and Molly Kirwan; and his grandchildren, Nightingale Kirwan, Enzo Kirwan and Juniper Heroux. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Since the pandemic, the two had been enjoying a well-earned retirement spent painting, exploring national parks, and doting on their grandkids.
