He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Schiltz; his children, Patrick Schiltz (Elizabeth), Daniel Schiltz, Christine Scholl (Jeffrey) and Michael Schiltz (Sandra); his grandchildren, Anna, Joseph, Peter, Katherine, Michael, Matthew, Samantha and Danielle; and his great grandchildren, Maximiliano, Charles, Elias and Martha.

Memorials preferred to the Kathleen Gersich Schiltz Scholarship Fund at the College of St. Scholastica or St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duluth.
