She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Adolph and Alma Sundstrom (Kattilakoski); her former husband Victor Nylen; her husband James Haggerty; her children, Linda Sunde and Alan Nylen; her grandchildren, Patricia Nylen, Michael Sunde and Timothy Nylen; her siblings, George Sundstrom (Ellen), Carl Sundstrom (Muriel), Martin Sundstrom (Anna) and Elizabeth "Libby" Mindestrom (Lenard); Alphild "Sunny" Ferraro (Natalie) and Clifford Sundstrom (Lillian).

She is survived by: her uncle John; and her sons, John, Gary and Jeff. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to French River Lutheran Church.
