He was predeceased by: his daughter Jean; his siblings, Mary, Peggy, Lee and Mark; and his son-in-law Bob Masalonis.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Hicks Baker; his sons, Joe (Janet), Matthew and Brian (Dee Dee); and his stepchildren, Toddie (Rick Zimney), Tammie Hudspith (Mike), Terrie Masalonis and Tim Nelson (Barb). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
