He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wiita and Stella Wiita (Burkman); his siblings, Albert, Arnold, Alvin, Archie and Darlene; and his great grandchild Connor.

He is survived by: his wife Anita Schinigoi; his children, Debra (Steve) and Robert (MaryJo); and his siblings, Donny (Paula), Roy (Mary), Dorothy, Tudy, Donna (Ron) and Diane. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
