With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Frederick J. Pianfetti of Duluth, Minnesota, born in Hibbing, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Frederick J. left this world on July 31, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parent Laurel Pierson; his stepfather Vernon Pierson; his brother David; his stepbrothers, Kenny and Keith Pierson; and his sibling's children, Vernon and Tiami.
He is survived by: his wife Claudia Annala; his sons, James (Heather), Daniel (Liz), David and Joseph (Emilie); his grandchildren, Logan, Breanna, Claudia, Nathan, Lucian, Warren and Wesley; and his sisters, Ellie Jensen (Brad), Bonnie Sirjord (late Marvin) and Carol Browne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (2415 Ensign St, Duluth, MN 55811). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery (4777 US-53, Saginaw, MN 55779).
