He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Thompson and Gladys Thompson (Quigley); his stepchildren, Bruce and Kerry Olsen (Suzanne); and his brother Duane Thompson (Jan Davidson).
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Thompson; his daughter Nicole Wood (Chris); his stepchildren, Cindy Gressman, Keith Olsen and Craig Olsen; his grandchildren, Anja, Elizabeth, Josh (Holly), Jessica (Alex), Brittany, Morgan, David, Jordan and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Owen, Hudson, Ames and Jack; and his sister Janice Schmitt (David). He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
