Gerrit Vandenberg Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerrit Vandenberg (Duluth, Minnesota), born in Pine City, Minnesota, who passed away on August 8, 2021 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerrit Vandenberg to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit "Jerry" Van and Sylvia Vandenberg (Turpanon); his wife Merdita Arlene Thompson; his son Gerrit Dean; his former wife Carol Vandenberg; and his brothers, Joel (Hazel) and Douglas Vandenberg (Karen) of Duluth.

He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Lynn Taylor (Shawn); his granddaughter Kiera M. Taylor of Mansfield; and his brother Michael Vandenberg (Geraldine) of Duluth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
