He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Slotness and Inga Slotness; his brother Arvid Slotness; his wife Darlene Slotness; and his son Mike Slotness.
He is survived by: his children, Suzan Johnson (Mark) and Mark Slotness; his grandchildren, Steph Slotness-Johnson (Zac Bentz), Neil Slotness, Nichole Hagadorn, Shane Johnson (Asmaa Elkeurti), Stephanie Dearhamer (Casey), Pauline Forsythe (Brandon) and Eirik Slotness; his great grandchildren, Addison, Kaden, Maddyson, Jack, Josephine, Nickoli and James; his nieces and nephews, Gary, Scott Melander, Kari Torvi and Lynn Odegaard; his sister-in-law Dee Slotness; and also Harriet Besser.
