He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Frederick and Jeanette Frederick; his brother Herb Frederick; and his brother-in-law Clare Goldsmith. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wilder; his children, Julie Metos (Tim), Adam Frederick (Cynthia) and Emily Boyd (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Thomas, Grace, Ruthie, Henry, Jax and Alex. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Duluth (835 W College St, Duluth, MN 55811). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In honor of Harold, please plant a tree and donate to the Duluth Aquarium, another Duluth non-profit of your choice, or the Minnesota DFL.
