It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Ann Blanchette of Duluth, Minnesota, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hayson and Anna Hayson; her husband Donald Blanchette; and her siblings, Frank, Nick, Louis and Patsy Hayson.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Welshinger (Bruce) of Makinen, MN, John (Mary) of California and Betty Webster (Dale) of Arizona; her sisters, Mary Bartylla (Jim) of California, Mildred Owens of Kentucky and Lucille Lynch (John) of Michigan; her grandchildren, Tina Obioha (Felix), Lynette Kraskey (Andy), Patricia Welshinger, Robyn Macias (OJ), Kelly Jo Laguna (Joe), Susie Alveraz (Juan), Teresa Young, David Young, Jason Webster (Rachel) and April Abdouch; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Sierra, Noah, Adam, Nya, Sarriah, Dylan, Michael, Ethan, Isaiah, Jacob, Abby and Sereya. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
