She was predeceased by: her significant other George Medich; her mother Laura Andrews; and her sisters, Angeline Ballas and Mary Kuzas. She is survived by: her children, Mary Tilander (Terry), Mike, Cathy, Paula Kaufman (David) and George Medich Jr; her grandchildren, Adria Haapoja (Nate), Emma, Andrew, Helen Kaufman and Matthew Medich; her great grandchildren, Eleni, William and Ruby Haapoja; her siblings-in-law, Tom and Ady Kuzas; and her friend Koumbari.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Helen's name are preferred to: Twelve Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church Sunday School Endowment, George and Helen C. Medich Family Medical Scholarship or St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
