She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Olson and Winona Olson; her parents-in-law, Freeda and Thomas Wherley; her husband Robert Wherley; her brother-in-law Richard Wherley; her brothers, Lawerence and Jerry Olson; and her daughter Barbara Hakes.

She is survived by: her children, Wendy Purdiak (John), Michael Wherley (Jill) and John Wherley (Kim); her sister Victoria Olson; her son-in-law Chuck Hakes; her brother-in-law Thomas Wherley (Paula); and her grandchildren, Lisa Langlee (Eric), Keith Hanson (Beth), Janelle Hatton (Jim), Mathew Purdiak (Jamie), Leah Hakes (Jesse), Anna Hakes (Justin), Karlee Hakes, McKenzie Wherley, Josie Wherley, Ryan Jakubek, Deryk Koivisto and Kayla Bergeson (Ben). She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
