She is survived by: her mother Patricia Oakes; her friend Maddie Reis; her husband Phil Anderson; her daughter Eliza Anderson; her grandparents, Carol Oakes, Gerald and Gladys Behning; her siblings, Mike Oakes (Megan) and Amy Oakes (Sarah); her siblings' children, Emily Mertz and Elijah Mertz; her uncles, Mark Behning (Linda) and Greg Oakes (Martha); her aunt Gerri Hanson (Dave); her cousins, Sara Behning (Dylan Hendrickson), Jesse Behning (Lena), Samantha Halon, Kathryn Perronne (Josh), Steven VanKauwenberg (Khrystal) and Sarah Mikovic (Jovan); and her pets, Mina, Nala, Edgar and Harwin.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at the Forest Hill Cemetery (2516 Woodland Ave, Duluth, MN 55803). A reception will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at 5324 E Superior St, Duluth, MN 55804.
