Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Hommey Kanter (Duluth, Minnesota), born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 96, on June 19, 2019. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Bessie Abraham; her children, Claudia, Douglas (Cindy) and Jeffry; her grandsons, Jonathan and Daniel (Mollie); and her brother Sid. She was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Temple Israel (Duluth), UMD Kanter Scholarship, or the Women's Health Center (Duluth).
