She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Slatten and Genevieve Slatten; her sister Virginia; and her sister-in-law Deb. She is survived by: her husband David Solomon; her sons, James Kristen (Teresa) and Timothy Hope (Sarah); her grandchildren, Joseph, Faith, Luke, Vivian, Aubrey, Elle, Wesley and Will; and her siblings, Kenneth Phyllis Ciurleo (Peter), Thomas (Louise) and Richard Dawn (Cyndi).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Hope's memory.
