He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his sons, James Hansen III (Brenda) of Andover, MN and Jerry Hansen (Jodi) of Superior; his grandchildren, James Ferraro (Makayla), Ellen Hansen (Shaun), Sam Hansen (Cathy) and Charlie Hansen; his brothers, Mike Swanoski (Diane) of Pike Lake and Paul Swanoski (Bonnie) of Superior; and his sister-in-law Mary Anne Collins of Duluth, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
