She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Nelimark and Aili Nelimark (Sorvari). She is survived by: her husband Daniel DeVaney; her children, Steve DeVaney (Debbie) of Mora, Deb DeVaney (Steve Therrien) of Superior, Chris DeVaney of Duluth and Janez Funda; her grandchildren, Daniel, Elizabeth, Erin, Noah, Leif, Ian and Michaela; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Eireen, Ella and Ollie.
She was a force of nature and 3-time cancer survivor before Alzheimer's stole her thunder.
