He was predeceased by : his parents, Martin Sr. Evans and Helen Evans (Sandberg); and his brothers, Ronald and Martin Evans Jr.. He is survived by : his son Jerome Evans Jr.; his brother David Evans (Dawn); and his grandchildren, Jackie and Brooklyn Evans. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelson Funeral Care (1004 Cloquet Ave, Cloquet, MN 55720). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
