He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Lindquist); his children, Lori Wiita (Joe McFarland), Diane Schlossin (David), Mark Wiita (Laurie), Brian Wiita (Melissa), Karen White (Bryan) and Wendy Kaptonak (Bill); his grandchildren, Steve (Morgan), Jana, Emma, Dalton, Jacob, Alex, Bethany, Andy, Ethan, Maggie, Isaac, Lydia, Abbie, Gabe and JhonRae (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Lucas and Sawyer; his sister-in-law Audrey Wiita; and his close friends, Travis, Megan Johnson and Mario Schinigoi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
