He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald and Lola; his stepson James "Jimmy" Davis; his brother Richard "Dick" Goar; and his sister-in-law Joyce Goar.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Goar; his children, Dona Anderson (Mike), Michael Goar (Tammy), Judy Larson, Tina Anderson (Dale), Shawn Davis and Jason Davis; his grandchildren, Chad, Grant, Ashley, Paul, Riley, Cody, Donald, Scott, Tara, Carissa, Kyle, Hannah and JJ; his great grandchildren, Connor, Colbie, Kollyns, Aaron, Max, Luke, Eleanor and Alex; his brother Tom Goar; and his sister-in-law Judy Goar.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the VFW or All-American Club.
