We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2022, at the age of 82, Jill Lee Christie of Duluth, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Christie; her parents, Morris Kerness and Doris Kerness (Bailey); and her siblings, Victor Kerness and Kathee Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Brooke Roalson (Kevin), Paige Mellinger (Rick) and Cort Christie (Sheila Colfer); her grandchildren, Erik Roalson, Joshua Roalson (Gao), Jacob, Ryan Mellinger, Luke Christie (Haleigh) and Lian Christie; her great grandchildren, Cormac, Ewan Roalson, Camden Roalson and Hendrix Christie; her siblings, Lance Kerness (Sharon Henderson) and Layne Whiteman; and her close friend Gary Spakosky. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and incredible friends.
During the pandemic, her Thursday-morning Zoom meetings with the CS Sisters continued to bless her with friendship and purpose!
