With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn Carolyn Chesser (Duluth, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2026 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of JoAnn Carolyn Chesser to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Haff and Vivian "Lulu" Haff; and her siblings, John, Bob, Midgie and Mary Ann.
She is survived by: her sons, David Chesser (Ann) and Robert Chesser (Lori); her niece Heidi; her nephew Brian Cagle (Nikki); her sisters, Sally, Judy and Lonetta; and her sister-in-law Ann. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in her name to The Alzheimer's Association or Second Harvest Northland in hopes that the community will remember her as well.
