We are sad to announce that, on January 9, 2023, at the age of 86, JoAnn Fairbanks (Duluth, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Beatrice Herring and Joseph Herring; her children, Craig of Duluth, LeaAnn, Michael of Minneapolis, Steve and Deidre of Duluth; and her grandchildren, Sam, Joe (Madison), Ethan, Maya, Maeve and Anne.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Louis County Search and Rescue Canine Unit.
