He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wipson and Evelyn Wipson; his spouse Beverly Biron; and his brothers, Warren and Charles.

He is survived by: his children, Biron Wipson (Patti) and Christine McCabe (Thomas); his grandchildren, Michael McCabe (Hannah), Brian McCabe (Anna), Andrew McCabe (Allie Youngberg), Max Wipson (Meig Dickson) and Amity Borden (Doug); and his brother-in-law George Biron. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
