He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo J. DeRosier and Marguerite E. DeRosier; his wife Bev (Eskola); his daughter Arlene Morrison; his son-in-law Tim Morrison; his granddaughter Vicki Towle; and his brothers, Leo R. (Dick) and Gerald W. DeRosier.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Towle (John Soderlund), Gary DeRosier (Maureen) and Laura Owen (Steve); his brother William DeRosier (Bill) of Duluth; his grandchildren, Laura, Daniel, Ryan Pursi of Duluth, Jennifer Gasche (Bryan) of Florida, Natalie Towle of Nevada, John J. DeRosier of Duluth, Alex Owen (Alexis Murray) of Duluth, Brandon Owen (Denise) of Duluth, Clayton Theivagt (Theresa) of Duluth and Jake Theivagt (Mary) of Superior; his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Alyssa, Derek (Hannah), Tyler, Max, Adam, Nolan, Fischer, Allison, Caden and Elizabeth; and his great great grandchildren, Kason and Camden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
